United Arab Emirates (UAE) was elected host country of the World Expo 2020
during the BIE General Assembly on November 27, 2013.
The first Universal Exhibition organized in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia (MEASA) region, it will bring together more than 200 participants, including 192 countries. It will bring together nations, businesses, non-governmental organizations, and visitors from all over the world and will allow you to discover the very latest innovations and technological advances.
An emblematic place with a unique architecture, the Exhibition will be an opportunity to taste cuisines from around the world, to appreciate different cultures, and to take part in multiple shows and artistic and cultural representations of the most varied.
Through its theme “Connecting Minds, Building the Future” and its three sub-themes - Opportunity, Mobility and Sustainability - the World Expo 2020 aims to unleash the potential of each individual by encouraging collaboration and offering the possibility to all to contribute to the development of humanity and the planet.
