Expo 2017 Astana Kazakhstan
The Specialised International Exhibition was organised around the theme "Energy of the Future", which is structured around three main themes:
- Reducing CO2 emissions
- Living energy efficiency
- Energy for all.
The choice of this theme was intended to make visitors, current and future generations, think about the challenges of energy transformation on the planet. The impact of today's choices on economic and social development will be crucial for the future.
This Exhibition was held for 3 months, from 10 June to 10 September 2017.
The Principality wanted to highlight the intellectual thinking and actions it is implementing in the field of energy and to show its ecological awareness. The theme of the Monaco Pavilion was "REFLECTING THE FUTURE".
This theme was thus articulated between :
- Monaco's physical reflection on the Mediterranean Sea
- An intellectual reflection on the duality between Man and Nature

The logo recalls the originality of the central screen of the Pavilion. It is made up of two distinct elements, chromatically subdivided into blue and white, representing a mirror effect and the border between sea and land. It is a metaphor between Man and the Environment, between the Principality of Monaco and the Mediterranean Sea.
